Smt. Kalaiveni Subbiah is a Direct Recruit Generalist officer of 1988 First batch. She did her B.A. Hons in Political Science from Delhi University and became a Fellow Member of Insurance Institute of India in 1999.

She has had a rich experience of over 35 years in the Non-Life Insurance Industry and has worked in different Leadership capacities in various parts of the country be it Chennai, Mumbai, Vadodara or Delhi. She has handled retail customers, Large Corporates and State Government Health business during her stint in various offices of United India. She has headed Delhi Regional Office 2 and Chennai Regional Office which incidentally was the second largest Regional office of United India controlling over Rs. 1300 crores of premium.

As General Manager she is currently handling PF, Pension, Gratuity, Audit Compliance, Labour Laws Compliance and Housing Loan. She is also the Overseeing General Manager of the Regional offices in Madurai, Coimbatore, Kozhikode and Ludhiana.
