Mr. Sanjay Joshi, who hails from the pristine state of Uttarakhand, joined the Company as a direct recruit officer in 1989. In his career spanning 34 years, he has had a rich and varied experience across the length and breadth of the country. In his distinguished career he has handled almost all the technical departments at various levels. Possessing good communication and inter-personal skills, he has had a long and successful stint as Branch/Divisional Head across various Regional Offices. Further, he has also worked in the Large Corporate Cell (LCB) at Delhi. In his assignments in all types of Business Offices, he has successfully dealt with various big clients like CMC (Now TCS), DSM Group, THDC Ltd, Magma Leasing Ltd., Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd, SJVNL, BHEL and IOCL. Further, he was the Company’s Nodal Officer for a mass Government health insurance scheme in Uttarakhand in 2015-16.

Following this diverse experience across multiple functions, since his joining Health Department at Head Office in October 2017 as Chief Manager, he contributed significantly in the areas of Product Development and Regulatory compliance. Subsequently as Deputy General Manager at Head Office, besides Health, he looked after Corporate Legal and Product Development Departments. In his role as the Chief Grievance Officer for the Company, his pro-active and solution oriented approach enabled the Company earn greater trust and confidence of the customers. After a successful tenure at Head Office, Sri Joshi went on to head the Chandigarh Regional Office for over one year. On his elevation as General Manager, he is presently handling portfolios including Marine, Crop, Rural & Micro Insurance, Corporate Legal, Actuarial, and Product Development & Research.

Sanjay Joshi is a Post-graduate in Environmental Sciences with PG Diploma in Marketing Management. He is a fellow Member of Insurance Institute of India.
