As Direct Recruit Officer (Accounts) of 1987 Batch worked as Divisional and Regional Accountant in different Regions. While working as Accounts In-Charge at LCB, Mumbai, voluntarily took over charge as Chief Underwriter, to auto-fill the vacuum created, due to sudden exit of Underwriting officers. Served big clients viz. GMR, Ceat Tyres, Larsen & Tubro, Mumbai Airport Authority of India Ltd with various lines of business including Project and Health portfolio. On elevation, posted as Chief Underwriter at LCB, Kolkata. Served various notable clients- ITC Ltd., Hindalco, British Airways, HCL Tech, Various Assam tea gardens, Emami Ltd to name a few.

When Chennai/Tamilnadu got hit by unprecedented floods in the year 2015, as Regional Manager headed the special claims team – Non-Motor Claims Hub. A record settlement of 4748 Non-Motor Claims, paved way for vide spread coverage in the social media, upholding the image of the organization as Best service provider in Claims.

On elevation as DGM posted to HITPA. Spearheaded the team for creation of Data base of hospitals, Streamlined hospital settlement process with the involvement of insurers in the day-to-day functions. As DGM-IT at Head Office, during crisis times, ensured hassle–free D.C. movement, which involved shifting of hardware & other infrastructure. During National Lockdown due to COVID, provided Virtual Private Network(VPN) to officers which resulted in smooth functioning of Marketing as well as Claims Settlement. Proactive measures are taken by implementing digitization and centralization of Claims Settlement Hubs. Handled the huge task of transformation of Data Center at Mumbai and DR at Hyderabad with Hardware refresh including Data migration, in the month of March 2022 in a successful way.

Presently as General Manager Handling Human Resources (I, III & IV), PF, Pension, Gratuity, Fire & Engineering, Re-insurance& Overseeing New Delhi, Coimbatore, Madurai &Pune Regions. Prior to this Top Management Position as GM she has worked in Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Telangana, West Bengal States/Regions in different Leadership Capacities, serving both Corporate and Retail Segments.

As a Senior professional having over 35 years of experience in Insurance Industry, she is a Post Graduate in Commerce with PG Diploma in Computer Applications. She is a Fellow Member of Insurance Institute of India.

She is a Member in the IRDA committees on Re-Insurance Regulations, Fire&Engg. De-tariffing and Re-Insurance Taskforce.
